We take a sustainable, socially responsible approach.
In this context, the Demmel Group maintains a constant and open dialogue with all interest groups and evaluates all sustainability aspects of our stakeholders. Based on a double materiality analysis, the impacts, performance and key areas of action were assessed and prioritised. The results of the materiality analysis form the basis for our Group-wide sustainability principles.
We are convinced that economically strong and successful companies are an important support for achieving effective environmental protection, a social balance with greater consideration of human rights and a responsible culture.
In our Sustainability Code, we address the sustainability aspects identified by our stakeholders and describe our understanding of sustainability. In this way, we aim to fulfil environmental, social and regulatory requirements and make a valuable contribution to the sustainable management of resources. The aforementioned sustainability principles are available for download as a Code of Sustainability in the Group-wide governance documents.
Demmel AG - as the parent company of the Demmel Group - has voluntarily published a sustainability report in accordance with the structures of the German Sustainability Code (DNK) since 2018, building on the long-standing environmental management seal of approval (EMAS). The DNK report is available in the company-specific download area of Demmel AG.
Our products meet all environmental protection requirements. We recycle used batteries and dispose of waste in an environmentally friendly manner. We take targeted measures to avoid emissions and reduce potential hazards. We use our resources sparingly and thus make a sustainable contribution to preserving the environment.
